here’s a fun project that was inspired an office chair i found on overstock! let’s check out the breakdown of the key elements in this design:
1. via overstock – dix office chair in gold and navy; it’s navy & gold! really, is there anything else to say? 2. world market – round blanca table; here’s a tip, a round dining table can be an excellent choice as a desk if your work lends itself to needing extra space to spread out or you collaborate with others and need a desk that is multipurpose 3. black rooster – gold plated modern acrylic chair x2; the gold & acrylic keep things feeling light and chic which is a great way to playfully balance out the heavy, wood table 4. wallzilla – minimalist watercolor print 11″x14″; feminine but not too fussy 5. parima creative studio – pink abstract fine art print; adds some more color and interest to a fairly neutral color palette 6. land of nod – mezzanine pendant in black x2; a couple of pendant lamps over the table adds sculptural interest as well as task lighting 7. megan meagher – agate abstract ii 40″x40″; and beautiful and interesting piece that accentuates the color scheme 8. west elm – deco marble table lamp; these lamps have a great texture and commanding presence as a pair 9. ikea – stockholm sideboard in beige; storage that keeps the space feeling streamlined and uncluttered 10. rugsusa – kaleen glam wool rug in gray; grounds the desk area and adds another layer of texture to the space
